Gary Hooser

Gary Hooser is a contributing writer to The Maui Independent. A former Hawaii State Senator (2002 - 2010), Gary served as Senate Majority Leader (2006 - 2010) and Director Office of Environmental Quality Control (2011 - 2012), and most recently as a Kauai County Councilor (1998 - 2002, and 2012 - 2016).
